| This cute cottage has a wonderful history with a terrific location. The cottage started out as a residence for the cranberry growers. It then became the original toll house for people crossing the Bass River Bridge. When the tolls were no longer required a boat builder bought it and built wooden boats. After an extensive renovation all the while maintaining the integrity of the old, it is now a very comfortable cottage and home. The cottage is surrounded by conservation land to the rear and on the side there is a pretty town park with a small beach on Bass River . Bass River is the salt water river that cuts the Cape in half. This location is also a golfers paradise for there is a lovely public golf course 3/10 of a mile away and another 1/2 of a mile away. The location is central to everything that is wonderful to experience on Cape Cod. There are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms: two queen bedrooms with a/c and one room with 2 twin beds. The kitchen is fully equipped, there is a den with a dining area and a living room with a fireplace. The patio is fully furnished and has a gas grille. Kitchen: dish washer, washer dryer, blender, microwave, juicer, Comcast internet, a TV in the den and one in the queen bedroom. 1/2 of a mile to the Cape Cod Bike Trail. Bass River Golf Course 3/10 of a mile, Blue Rock Golf Course 1/2 of a mile, Wilbur Park with small beach next door. | ||||||
