At one time there were board walks with dancing in the afternoon. This continues today on Sunday afternoons. One of the oldest carousels, a remanent of Paragon Park, dating back to 1905 is still in operation. It was the summer home to such luminaries as: Honey Fitz Fitzgerald ( Rose Kennedy’s father ), Calvin Collidge and Joe Kennedy Sr. Easy access to the great city of Boston, Plymouth Plantation and the Mayflower and Cape Cod.

Falmouth/Woodshole terminal to Martha's Vineyard, 45 minutes, runs approx. every hour or the ferry from Hyannis Harbor there is 1 hour ferry and a 2 hour ferry. Hyannis Harbor to Nantucket, either private ferry or State run ferry either the fast ferry, 1 hour or regular ferry 2 hours. Harwich Port to Nantucket, approx. 1 hour 30 minutes.
